Breviglieri Back in Action
Natalia Breviglieri was eliminated earlier today but bought back in and now plays a very healthy 80,000-stack. She told us how she worked up her stack from 30,000 in two hands.
1) The player under the gun plus one opened and Breviglieri, right next to him, called with . The button and big blind both called as well and the flop came . Action checked to Breviglieri and she made a bet. Both the button and big blind folded and the initial raiser called.
Another hit the turn and the initial raiser checked. Breviglieri bet 5,000 which prompted her neighbor to go into the tank for a bit. He started chatting, asking her if she would show if you would fold. Breviglieri didn't respond and saw her neighbor eventually push all in. Breviglieri called with trips and she had her opponent drawing dead as he turned over .
2) Not much later, that same player opened. Breviglieri flatted with and a third player, starting the hand with 25 big blinds, over called in position. The flop came rainbow and the initial raiser and Breviglieri both checked. The short stack pushed all in and the initial raiser gave up. Breviglieri called with top pair and top kicker and she was up against . The turn and river were blanks and Breviglieri knocked out the short stack.
