Addamo Leads Final 17 in WPT Online Series $10,300 High Roller
The WPT Online Series kicked off this weekend, including a value-packed Pro Hunt, as the festival returned to partypoker.
The biggest event of the opening weekend was Event #5: $10,300 WPT High Roller that came with a $1,000,000 guarantee.
Once registration closed, the tournament was just one entry shy of the guarantee, but that didn't stop some of the best players in the world gathering, with perhaps the best of them all leading the final 17 players ahead of Day 2 on Monday, May 17.
We've got all the latest news, interviews and more from the 2021 WPT Online Series on partypoker right here on PokerNews. Head to the WPT Online Series Hub to find out more.
Addamo Doing Addamo Things
What is there to say about Michael Addamo? Winner of the MILLIONS Online Mega High Roller back in March, and the WPT World Online Championship Super High Roller last September, it should come as no surprise that the Australian is once again in pole position to win another major online tournament.
Addamo sits with 1.5 million in chips ahead of Argentina's Ramiro Petrone, who is the only other player above one million in chips.

There was no luck for partypoker Ambassadors Mikita Badziakouski or Kristen Bicknell, who both failed to cash. Other player to fall short of the money included WPT World Online Championship Main Event final tablist Damian Salas.
