The television crew are experiencing technical difficulties so have sent the players on an unscheduled 10-minute break.
We have reason to believe the hi-tech cards are not being read by the scanner where Victor Paraschiv is seated and they are now attempting to rectify this.
Romanian pro Victor Paraschiv has shown a willingness to open pots at this final table and he just opened another with a raise to 80,000 from the cutoff. Initially it looked like he would take down the blinds and antes, that was until Marvin Rettenmaier three-bet to 215,000 in the small blind.
Suddenly Paraschiv's hand did not so pretty to him and he sent it into the muck.

Marvin Rettenmaier opened to 85,000 and Artur Voskanyan made the call before Joseph El Khoury moved all in from the big blind. Both folded and El Khoury has a bit more breathing space for now.
Ran Azor raised to 75,000 from UTG and Victor Paraschiv was the only caller in the cutoff.
The flop was 
and Azor flung out a bet of 125,000 but Paraschiv wasn't going anywhere. He cut out a raise and made it 255,000 to go, putting the onus back on the Israeli, the latter lost interest and quickly folded.
Artur Voskanyan started the preflop betting round with a raise to 70,000, a bet that Ran Azor called when next to act. The action then folded around to Marvin Rettenmaier and the German pro entered the tank for almost a minute beofre squeezing to 265,000.
Voskanyan looked like he had called for a moment but he did not, he folded and shortly after Azor followed suit.
The players are starting to relax and they're opening up their game as a result.

Marvin Rettenmaier opened to 65,000 and when the action passed around to Joseph El Khoury, the table' shortest stack put the maximum pressure on his German opponent by moving all in for his 395,000 stack.
Rettenmaier gave all of his options the maximum consideration before deciding on a fold.

The play at the start of this final tale has been cagey to say the least but it is difficult to put any blame on the players as this is poker on the biggest stage.
Just now Victor Paraschiv opened to 60,000 from the hijack but he soon let his hand go as Kiryl Radzivonau three-bet to 160,000 from the cutoff seat.
