Poker players in Canada's most populous province will get a chance to compete for two World Series of Poker bracelets on Sunday.

WSOP.ca Ontario launched in September as part of the new provincial regulated gaming market. All players located in Ontario with GGPoker accounts were required to migrate to the new platform. To celebrate the launch on GGPoker software, the WSOP added three bracelet events to the 2022 online series.

Event #3- $1,050 GGMasters Online Championship [Freezeout]

The main event of the series, the $1,050 GGMasters Online Championship [Freezeout], begins at 5 p.m. ET on Oct. 30. Featuring a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, Ontario's top players will take to the virtual felt and try to get their hands on the coveted gold bracelet.

There are already 74 players registered for the tournament, with late registration open until 9:35 p.m. on Sunday. Popular Twitch streamer Patrick "EgptionON" Tardif and Justin Ouimette are among those who have secured their seats in what will be the biggest tournament held on the new platform.

Players begin with 10,000 chips and play 15-minute levels. The top prize is already approaching $60,000, but that should grow dramatically as the event approaches.

Event #2- $210 PLO Bounty MILLION$, $100K GTD [Final Stage]

The GGMasters Online Championship won't be the only bracelet awarded on Sunday. Day 2 of the $210 PLO Bounty MILLION$, $100K GTD events kicks off at 8:30 p.m featuring players who have survived the opening flights.

There are currently 43 players who have qualified for the final day out of a total of 461 entries, including WSOP bracelet winner Mike Leah and Tardif. "IronMyJacket" is the chip leader with 1,754,342, nearly double their closest challenger. With multiple starting flights up to 6 p.m. on Sunday, even more players will earn their way into the field for Day 2.

Blinds pick up at 1,500-3,000 and a 350 ante when play resumes, with levels lasting 12 minutes. There is a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool for players to earn a share of, as well as a progressive bounty for each elimination.

Event #1: Big $150 Ontario MILLION$

The first bracelet awarded in Ontario took place on Oct. 23 in Event #1: Big $150 Ontario MILLION$. Tristan "Schneids" Schneider took home the prestigious prize, outlasting a field of 1,310 total entries to earn $28,968. Schneider had just one recorded WSOP cash, from an online event in August for $2,117, but can now call himself a WSOP bracelet winner.

Schneider defeated Siswanto "rexdale225" Soetedjo heads-up, flopping a set of deuces and finishing with a full house to beat Soetedjo's trip fives. Tardif finished in ninth place, but not before securing his first WSOP final table appearance.
