Richard "Rich71" Mauran, who finished in seventh place in the first WSOP.ca Ontario bracelet event, just took the tournament chip lead after cracking aces in a massive three-way pot.

Mauran opened to 300 from early position before "First48" three-bet to 800 in middle position. "soulstealer" called from the small blind, as did Mauran as they went three-handed to the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop.

Mauran bet 1,298 and "First48" moved all in for 7,526. "soulstealer" got out of the way, but Mauran called with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for top set. "First48" showed {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and was in danger of hitting the rail.

The turn and river came {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Mauran took the 17,648 chip pot and knocked out "FIrst48."
