Jake Solis
Jake Solis
Micheal Binger bumped the action to 30,000 from the button, before Jake Solis moved all in for his remaining 90,000. Ty Stewart called, as did Binger, sending all three to the flop. The action was checked down from there.

The board filled out: {Q-Spades} {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {5-Spades}

Showdown:

Binger: {K-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}
Solis: {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts}
Stewart: {7-Clubs} {7-Hearts}

Jake Solis received a genuine hand shake from both players as he exited the tournament area as the third place finisher. Solis will gross $77,464 for his efforts.

Solis Hanging by a Thread

Jake Solis
Jake Solis
Michael Binger and Jake Solis just went heads-up in a hand that left Jake Solis with less than 100,000 in chips.

Binger limped into the pot from the small blind and Solis checked his option in the big. The flop came {8-Spades} {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} and a check-check sequence brought us to the turn: {7-Spades}.

Binger then fired a small 15,000 bet in and Solis quickly called. The {9-Diamonds} was the last card to fall off the deck, and Binger fired a bet of 40,000. Solis made the call and Binger tabled {5-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} for a nine-high straight; Solis mucked.

After the hand, Solis was left with about 95,000 in chips while Binger improved to 542,000.

Micheal Binger - 472,000
Jake Solis - 165,000

Nines are Good

With a board showing {2-Spades} {4-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs}, Ty Stewart bet out 20,000 and Micheal Binger obliged. The river, first one in awhile, was a {7-Spades}. Stewart lead out with 40,000 and after much deliberation, Binger obliged once more. Stewart showed {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts} from the hole and took down the pot.

Stewart Bounds Back

Ty Stewart

On a flop showing {7-Hearts} {2-Spades} {4-Hearts}, Michael Binger check-called a 20,000 bet from heads-up opponent Ty Stewart.

The {5-Clubs} fell on the turn and Binger checked once more, allowing Stewart to fire again -- this time for 50,000; Binger made a quick call.

Fifth street delivered the {J-Spades} and Binger checked once more. Stewart then fired his biggest bet yet, making it 75,000 to play, and the wager sent Binger deep into the tank.

"You probably got me," said Binger as he thought to himself out loud. "Jack of hearts... set..." he murmured aloud, running through Stewart's various possible holdings.

Eventually, Binger made the call, saying, "I think I'm behind but I call."

As soon as he slid the 75,000 across the betting line, Stewart tabled {5-Spades} {4-Spades} for two pair and Binger tossed his cards into the muck pile.

After the hand, Binger fell back down to 470,000 in chips while Stewart climbed back up over the million mark with 1,172,000.

Battle of the Blinds Evens Things Out

Ty Stewart raised to 20,000 and saw Micheal Binger come along. The flop spread {9-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}, and Stewart opened for 50,000, and Binger would not be swayed. The turn was {6-Diamonds}, and Stewart checked over to Binger, who bet 75,000. The two saw the river {K-Hearts} and Stewart checked over to Binger, who bet out 150,000. Stewart folded and Binger flashed {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} .

After the hand Binger's count was 690,000 to the 980,000 of Stewart.

I Love Me Some Ace-high

Jake Solis
Jake Solis
Jake Solis opened the pot with a raise to 20,000 from the button. Ty Stewart then reraised to 50,000 from the small blind and Solis made the call.

Heads-up, both players checked the {Q-Spades} {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} board all the way down to the river, at which point Solis fired a 50,000 bet on the end. Stewart made a quick call and saw Solis turn over jack-ten high. Stewart then flipped over {A-Spades} {5-Clubs} which was good enough to take down the pot, and knock Solis back down to around 270,000 in chips. Stewart, meanwhile, jumped back up to 1,100,000.

Binger Battling Back

Michael Binger opened the pot with a raise to 23,000 from the button and was called by Ty Stewart in the big blind. Both players checked the {7-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} flop, sending us to the turn: {5-Hearts}.

Stewart knuckled the table and Binger took the opportunity to fire a 25,000 bet. Stewart made the call.

The {10-Clubs} fell on the river and Stewart checked again, allowing Binger to fire a bet worth 50,000. Stewart folded and Binger climbed back up to 610,000 in chips after the hand.
