Poche Getting Pushed Around

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Although he is the over-whelming chip leader, Jonathan Poche is still being picked on by his fellow final table combatants.

After James Anderson opened to 14,000, Poche three-bet the button to 37,000 only to have Anderson respond with an all in. Poche deliberated slightly before mucking.

The following hand saw Poche bump it up from the cutoff to 16,000 only to have Josh Evans on his direct left move all in for 222,000 in chips. Poche again elected to kick his cards to the muck while slipping to roughly 465,000 in chips.

Straight for Poche

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Charles "Woody" Moore and Jonathan Poche saw a flop come down {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} with Moore in position. Poche checked first and then Moore checked behind.

The turn brought the {A-Spades} and both players checked again to see the {3-Diamonds} fall on the river. Poche bet 29,000 and Moore immediately called. Poche tabled the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a straight to the seven and Moore mucked his hand.

Sengphet Makes Top Pair

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jonathan Poche opened for his usual 16,000 with La Sengphet making the call from the button as both players checked the {3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop.

The turn of the {2-Spades} was met by a delayed continuation-bet of 26,000 from Poche that Sengphet called before the {6-Clubs} was checked through on the river.

Poche showed a small pair, but it would be Sengphet's {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} that would see her collect the pot.

Poche Increases

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

From the button, chip leader Jonathan Poche raised to 16,000. Josh Evans called from the small blind and was his only customer. After the dealer spread the {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, Evans check-folded to a bet of 23,000 from Poche.
