Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Basil Lombardo - 14th Place
Basil Lombardo - 14th Place

Basil Lombardo moved all in for his last 290,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Robert Cheung who called with the button. The blinds released and the hands were tabled.

Lombardo: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Cheung: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Lombardo was dominated and could not improve as the board ran {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. The Austin, Texas native will have to settle with a 14th place finish for $14,369.

Cheung is now over a million chips.

"My Wife's Not Here Yet"

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Joe Bui opened from under the gun and Jeff Gibralter called in the big blind. The flop fell {7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Gibralter checked to Bui who continued for 175,000. Gibralter check-raised to 525,000 and Bui called.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Gibralter moved all in. Bui went into the tank.

"My wife's not here yet," he finally said, flashing the {q-Spades} before folding.

Gibralter showed the {5-Diamonds} and shipped a massive pot to push his stack to 2.3 million chips.

Oops

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Huy Nguyen opened for a raise on Table 81 and after a few folds he thought the action was completed so he exposed his hand. Basil Lombardo still had a live hand however, so Nguyen quickly flipped his cards back over.

The floor ruled that Lombardo could still act, and he went into the tank trying to recollect what the two cards were. He eventually folded, and Nguyen was given a one-round penalty for illegally exposing his hand.

Abandon Hand!

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Victor Haynes recently left the table, folding before the action was on him.

"Sir," the dealer said. "You can't abandon your hand."

Haynes just kept walking and didn't take notice. A tournament director stopped him however and warned him not to do it again. Haynes gave him a thumbs up and continued off the feature table stage.

Haynes Doubles

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Norman, Oklahoma native Victor Haynes moved all in for 395,000 from early position and Wichita, Kansas native Neal Seiwert made the call.

Haynes: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Seiwert: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The eights held as the board ran {3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Haynes doubled to 885,000 chips. Seiwert on the other hand is spiraling and has now lost almost half his stack in a half of a level.

Early Morning

Level 28 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

There has been very little chatter today and play has started very slowly.

"Are you tired too?" Traci Brown asked Andrew Watson after he yawned.

"Yeah," he murmured.

Somebody bring some coffees to the feature table area ASAP!
