We've reached the end of the first full level, and everyone's been sent off for a 15-minute break.
In early position, Ketan Pandya opened to 20,000, and Nick Mitchell called right next door. Action came to Todd Terry next, and he tanked for at least four or five minutes, shooting puzzling glances at the other two players in the pot. Eventually, he folded, and Andy Frankenberger copied his action, tanking for at least as long before also uncapping his cards and sending them muckward. Chris Bell called around in the big blind, and it was three-handed to the flop.
The dealer rolled out , and Bell and Pandya checked. Mitchell took his cue to bet 38,000, and Bell called. Pandya was thinking sinister thoughts, though, and he snuck in a check-raise to 110,000 total. Fold-fold quickly earned him the pot, and he's moved up to about 535,000 with that pot.
Micah Raskin raised to 20,000 from early position and Chris Klodnicki popped it to 60,000 from the small blind.
Raskin called and both checked the flop. The turn card fell, leading to a bet of 100,000 from Klodnicki. Raskin snap called and when the hit the river, Klodnicki put out a bet of 135,000. Raskin called before the chips were even out of Klodnicki’s hand and saw the bad news.
Klodnicki tabled , winning the pot and increasing his stack to about 950,000.
Raskin dropped to about 100,000.
Seth Fischer, who been very quiet lately, raised to 18,000 from middle position.
Micah Raskin made it 45,000 to go from the hijack and when action folded back to Fischer, he re-raised all in for about 170,000. Raskin flashed an ace before giving it up.
Todd Terry raised to 20,000 under the gun, and he found calls from Micah Raskin (button) and Ketain Pandya (small blind) to go three-handed to the flop.
It came , and action checked to Raskin. He made a bet that folded Pandya, but Terry came along to see another card. The turn was the , and this time Terry check-folded to a 50,000-chip bet from Raskin.
Terry is getting pretty short with about 160,000 chips left.
Chris Bell opened to 22,000 on the button and Micah Raskin called from the small blind.
The flop came down and both checked. The turn brought the and Raskin bet 25,000, quickly getting called by Bell. The hit the river and Raskin checked immediately. Bell bet 76,000 and Raskin instantly popped it to 154,000. Bell called after about a minute and both hands were revealed. Raskin was bluffing with what appeared to be , while Bell tabled for two pair to win the pot.
Bell: Up to about 980,000
Raskin: Down to about 370,000
Nick Mitchell raised to 18,000 from the hijack and Andy Frankenberger re-raised all in on the button for about 220,000.
Mitchell gave it up after about 30 seconds and Frankenberger took down the pot.
It's been a little while since we've seen a flop as most hands are being taken down by players three-betting preflop.
