"Straight flush," Jewell said in a matter-of-fact tone. Thornhill took a second look at the board and his face dropped. It was true Jewell had hit his gin card to take down the pot and increase his stack to 330,000. Thornhill was left with nothing to do but make the long walk out of the tournament area just shy of the money.
