Owens Shoves and Hartmann Can't Call - 6:48 PM
Anthony Hartmann raised to 43,000 and then Mark Owens reraised all in fro 253,000. Hartmann tanked for several long minutes as media, fans and the other players looked on to see if this would be the final hand. It wouldn't be though as Hartmann slid his hand into the muck and lost the pot. He dropped back to 300,000.
Check-Call, Check-Fold - 6:52 PM
James Anderson made it 38,000 to go, opening the pot from under the gun. Bernard Lee called on the button, and it was heads up to the flop. Anderson checked when it came 
, and he called a bet of 42,000 from Lee. The dangerous 
hit fourth street, and Anderson checked again. Lee stacked out another bet, 86,000 this time, and that was enough to win the pot.
Lee is up to about 460,000 now, dropping Anderson down to 365,000.
Aggression from Sands Wins - 7:11 PM
Dave "Doc" Sands raised from early position and made it 37,000 to go. Shannon Shorr called from the hijack seat, Gabe Patgorski called from the small blind and Brandon Adams called from the big blind.
The flop was 
and action checked to Sands. He fired 107,000 and everyone else folded. Sands moved up to 970,000 in chips.
Sands Over a Milli - 7:21 PM
First in from the cutoff, Gabe Patgorski raised to 40,000, and Dave Sands called from the big blind. Heads up, the flop brought 
, and Sands checked to the raiser. Patgorski led out with 22,000, and Sands check-raised to 84,000. Patgorski reraised to 135,000 (too small for a legal raise, but it got through), but the action wasn't over there. Sands proceeded to reraise to 239,000 straight, and Patgorski flat-called.
The turn brought the 
, and Sands moved all in for more than 550,000 total. Patgorski took a long while to consider before surrendering his hand to the muck, sending a big pot across the table.
"First hand I lost all day," Patgorski lamented as his stack slipped a bit to 2.2 million. He's still the chip daddy, but Sands is in second place now with about 1.26 million. "Glad it was to me," was the reply from Sands as he stacked up.
Steve Zolotow Eliminated in 10th Place ($39,346) - 7:30 PM
Dave "Doc" Sands had been raising just about every single hand at the unofficial final table making it only fitting that he was the one to do the deed of sending Steve Zolotow out the door in 10th place.
After Sands opened yet another pot with a raise, making it 37,000 to go, Zolotow moved all in for 87,000. Action folded back to Sands and he quickly called, revealing the 
. Zolotow held two lives cards with the

The crowd swarmed close to the table as the flop was prepared and then dealt. The 
rolled off first and Zolotow didn't find too much help. There was only one spade and no pair, making Sands' ace high the best hand still.

and that was the card that ended things, with Zolotow now drawing dead. The river card was the

Zolotow went out in 10th place and can add another great run to his successful poker career. Unfortunately, he'll only be leaving with $39,346 in prize money as he bubbles the official final table.
