Easley Sits On Top After Day 1; 36 Players Remain
Day 1 at the 2010-11 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event here at Harrah's Rincon has come to a close after 16 levels of play. From the starting field of 188, only 36 remain. Topping them all is Seneca Easley with a whopping 323,000 in chips.
The money line is set at 21. That is more of an unusual number than most, especially with the fact that the tables are nine handed, but squeaking past that mark will net you at least $3,000. First place is set at $70,384.
The final four tables will recommence action tomorrow at 12:00 noon local time on the West Coast. After 15 more people hit the rail, everyone will be in the money and the quest for the final table will really start to heat up. Once the final table is reached, play will end for the day.
