Ten Eliminations Away From a Champion
It's Day 3 here at World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's Chester Main Event and we're gearing up for the final 11 players to take their seats. We started the event with 322 runners and now ten men and one woman remain in the hunt for the gold WSOPC ring and $109,760 in first place money. At the top of the chip count is Eugene Fouksman with 1,285,000. Coming in at second is Ken Silverstein with 1,178,000, and John Mitchell rounds out the top three with 1,019,000.
Also alive in the field today is the 2011 WSOPC Harrah's Atlantic City Main Event champion Tuan Phan. Phan is sitting with 733,000 in tournament chips. Georgia Robinson, the last remaining woman in the field, is entering play with a short stack of 180,000.
After the first elimination of the day, players will combine at ten for the unofficial final table. Once more elimination occurs, our official final table will be set.
Players endured 14 levels of play last night and are returning to the felt at 2pm EST to play down to a winner. Stay tuned to PokerNews as we provide all of the latest updates on the final 11 and their quest for a championship.
