Day 3 saw the shortest day of poker for this historic tournament as 30 players returned to the felt to play down to the final nine. Players such as Day 1a Norman Overdijk, Kevin Huang, David Lim, David Pecaski, Mark Potovsky, Lawrence Iampen, and Steven Schartner all returned to play for Day 3 but saw their demise before the end of the day.
Once the field reached ten remaining players, the final ten combined for the unofficial final table. The final table bubble popped relatively quickly, as short stacked Seth Maretz moved all in before the flop with pocket fours only to be snapped off by Michael Collins from the next seat over with .
