A quick update on a couple of North Carolina-based pros, Ken Aldridge and Chris Bell. Both are back today after having failed to survive yesterday's Day 1a, but both have struggled somewhat during today's second flight.
Aldridge dipped below the starting stack early on, and was hovering at around 10,000 when he just got involved in a small hand in which he and an opponent made it to the river on a 
board. Aldridge tabled 
, and it was good enough as his opponent mucked.
Meanwhile, Bell just recently lost a big pot to drop from around the starting stack of 20,000 all of the way to about 4,000, and now he's patiently waiting for a spot to try to improve upon what has become a stack of about a dozen big blinds.
