Kuhlman Takes Rensen Out

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
George Rensen
George Rensen

Rene Kuhlman limped from the under the gun position and when it folded to George Rensen on the small blind they clashed for the second time in a very short time. Rensen raised and Kuhlman went for the limp-raise as he put in 18,000. Rensen called.

The flop came down {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and that's where all the chips went to the middle. Rensen got it in with {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}, while Kuhlman was holding {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

The turn was the {Q-Spades} and it was immediately over. The {A-Diamonds} river was a courtesy and the businessman was eliminated from the tournament.

Kuhlman Shoves it In

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Rene Kuhlman limped from early position and it folded to small blind Firoz Mangroe. Mangroe completed his small blind and big blind George Rensen checked.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and it checked to Kuhlman. Kuhlman put in another bet of 2,000 and Mangroe got out of the way this time. Rensen, however, did call to see the {A-Spades} turn.

Rensen checked to Kuhlman again who then bet 6,000. Rensen called in quick fashion and the {7-Hearts} river card completed the board. Rensen checked to Kuhlman for the third and final time. Kuhlman didn't act as fast as he did on previous streets, but after a minute he decided to move all in for 41,500. Rensen folded quickly and the pot went to Kuhlman.
