Burden Bounced, James Continuing to Crush
Just as Timothy Burden saw the last of his chips go across the felt to an opponent after Burden's pocket fives couldn't catch the sixes of his opponent, Robert James told us about a hand where he busted a foe of his own.
A player opened to 3,500 from early position, and was called by a middle position player, as well as James in the small blind.
Action checked to the middle position player on a 
flop, and he bet 8,000. Only James called.
The 
hit the turn, and James led out for 17,000. His opponent called.
James jammed on the 
river to put his opponent at risk for his last 45,000, and the middle position player obliged with a call, tabling 
. James had that pipped with his 
however, and took down the pot and the KO.
