Pupillo Chasing Ring Number Four as Nine Return For Day 3 of the 2019 WSOPC Horseshoe Southern Indiana Main Event
A field of 357 has been reduced down to just nine hopefuls here at the 2019 WSOPC Horseshoe Southern Indiana $1,700 Main Event, all seeking to bring down the $117,322 top prize, as well as the coveted WSOPC gold ring and a seat into the 2020 WSOPC Global Championship. The final nine have already guaranteed themselves a $10,103 payday, and leading the way at today's Final Table is Robert James, who bagged the overall chip lead for the second consecutive day, bringing back a whopping 3,080,000 for Day 3 action.
Nick Pupillo, who earned his third WSOPC ring two weeks ago at WSOPC Potawatomi Hotel and Casino in Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'em, sits in second with 2,200,000, and Thomas Alcorn (1,415,000) and three-time WSOPC ring winner John Gallaher (1,380,000) round out the millionaires club.
Jesse Carter (840,000) and David Winrich (610,000) sit in the middle of the pack, while Kenneth Ware (415,000) and WSOP Bracelet winners Brett Apter (390,000) and Alan Percal (375,000) will have their work cut out for them at the start of day's play.
