Welcome to Day 1b of the 2019 World Series of Poker Circuit Potawatomi Main Event!
The time has come for the second and final flight of the 2019 World Series of Poker Circuit Potawatomi $1,700 Main Event, and Day 1b hopefuls will be looking to join the 31 players who made it through yesterday's Day 1a flight. Leading the pack from yesterday's flight is Sohale Khalili with 624,000, while Ravi Raghavan (481,000), Brett Apter (339,000), Josh Reichard (132,000) are still in the hunt, as are former WSOPC Potawatomi champs Michael Hudson (148,000) and Keven Stammen (90,000).
Day 1b is set to kick off at 11 a.m. local time, and features fifteen forty-minute levels, and a single one-hour level will be played before play ends for the evening. Blinds start off at 100/100 for the Main Event, and players begin with 30,000 in tournament chips, with big blind ante kicking in at Level 2.
Players will receive a fifteen-minute break after Levels 3, 6, 12 and 15, and a sixty-minute dinner break after Level 9. Registration will remain open through the beginning of Level 13, and a single re-entry is available to players.
This marks the WSOPC's second stop at Potawatomi this year, as in February, Michael Hudson bested a field of 667 entries to earn $207,159 and deny Joshua Turner from earning his eighth WSOPC ring. WSOP Bracelet winner Kevin Stammen won the 2018 WSOPC Potawatomi Main Event, taking home $190,265 for navigating a 604 player field.
Maurice Hawkins, Allen Kessler, and Craig Trost are expected to fire again today, while Umut Ozturk, Dan Bekavac, and Jason Reno will be getting their first taste of Main Event action. All players that were unable to find a bag yesterday, along with any new players, are all eligible to play.
