Pincombe Hits a Flop He Loves
Greg Pincombe raised to 2,600 from the hijack and received calls by players on the button and in the big blind. The flop came and the big blind checked. Pincombe put out a stack for 17,700, letting it go from his hand in a fashion that sent the stack falling forward.
"Not all in," he said as the stack fell. There was one T100 chip left on top of his cards.
"That's right, you aren't," said the dealer. Before he could finish his sentence, the player on the button had folded and the big blind was in the process of doing the same.
"I missed," said the big blind tabling .
"Wait a minute," Pincombe responded. "What did I raise to pre? I like my hand," he said as he turned over , showing that he had flopped both an open-ended straight draw and nut flush draw, which proved to be enough to win him the pot on the flop.
