Chai Turns Three Treys To Double

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Paul Chai
Paul Chai

Paul Chai saw action folded to him in the small blind and raised to 195,000, putting action on Travis Fujisaka in the big blind. Fujisaka three-bet, sliding a decently-sized pile of pink T100,000 chips forward. Chai put all of his chips in and Fujisaka called off the difference.

Paul Chai: {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Travis Fujisaka: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Though his two unpaired cards were live, Chai wasn't thrilled to see that his diamonds were not. A three came in the window on the flop {3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} but there was a five-ball underneath, leaving him drawing even slimmer. The turn then fell {3-Spades} to improve him to trip treys, leaving him with two outs to sweat on the final card to earn a double. The river came {2-Clubs} and his stack was counted out to 830,000, which Fujisaka paid off.

"You're crazy, man," said Terence Reardon as Chai raked in his chips.

"Crazy good!" amended Paul Richardson.

"Crazy good," agreed Reardon.
