Robert Sumpter Bags Chip Lead as 37 Players Remain From Day 1a
Day 1a of the 2019 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at The Bicycle Casino has come to an end. Today saw a total of 191 entries. 37 players put chips in a bag today and they will return on Day 2 which will happen on Tuesday at 12:00p.m.
Robert Sumpter bagged the largest stack of the Day 1a field with 445,000. Andrew Ostapchenko (365,000), Peter Chu (347.000), Dylan Wilkerson (334,000) and Sean Jazayeri (310,000), make up the rest of the top five counts for Day 1a.
Other notables that were able to bag today include Bruce Kramer (186,000) and Brian Macilla (130,000).
Some notables that tried to get into Day 2 but failed today include Matthew Salsberg, Phil Laak, Adam Weinraub and Andrew Moreno.
Tomorrow will be the last day players have a chance to bag chips for Day 2 on Tuesday. Day 1b action will begin Monday at 12:00p.m. local time.
