Andy Robinson Captures 7th Career Gold Ring with Victory in Event #2: $400 NLH Double Stack

In Event #2: $400 NLH Double Stack, 278 runners created a $91,740 prize pool that was paid out to the top 42 players. Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were Patrick Cantrell (10th - $1,402), Megan Moore (16th - $977), Cole Sudeck (28th - $616), Trevor Hempel (36th - $562), and Allen Kessler (41st - $557).
In the end, Andy Robinson bested Laura Curry in heads-up play to win the title and $21,263 first-place prize. It marked his seventh career gold ring and third at Choctaw Durant.
��I mean, I��ve played with all these people before and I think they are really good, but I trust myself,�� Robinson said of the tough final table.
Of his heads-up opponent, he added: ��She��s very aggressive. I mean, she��s tough to play against. Most people are much more passive.��
