Cheong Pulls Ahead of Plausinaitis

Level 26 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Artem "Amsterq" Prostak made it 2.2 million to go and picked up a call by Paulius Plausinaitis in the big blind. Plausinaitis check-called the {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop for 1,988,250 and they checked the {q-Clubs} on the turn. Plausinaitis also checked the {3-Hearts} river and Prostak's bet worth 6.2 million forced a fold.

Prostak raised to 2.2 million three hands later and Joseph Cheong called in the hijack. Plausinaitis in the cutoff three-bet to 7.4 million and was called only by Cheong. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Cheong opted to check-call a bet worth 4,906,250.

The {6-Clubs} fell on the turn and both players now opted to check, which led to the {9-Spades} on the river. Cheong now bet 12,363,750 into 29,437,500 and Plausinaitis got out of the way.

More for Cheong and Papazian

Level 26 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Chip leader Paulius Plausinaitis raised to 2.2 million and then let go when facing the three-bet jam by "BetAddict". However, Plausinaitis made up for that the next hand when he raised to 2.2 million and earned the blinds and antes. Alexandru Papazian did so the following hand from under the gun as he faced no resistance.

One hand later, "turkey1" min-raised out of the small blind. Papazian three-bet to 5.5 million out of the big blind and that won the pot right there.

"likeboy" then raised once more, this time to 2.5 million, and Joseph Cheong defended the big blind. They checked the {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and Cheong led the {3-Spades} turn for 2,782,500 into 6,625,000. "likeboy" gave it some consideration and folded.

"likeboy" Boosts Stack

Level 26 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

China's "likeboy" raised to 2.2 million and was called by Joseph Cheong in the big blind. The duo checked the {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and Cheong then check-folded the {q-Hearts} turn when facing a bet of 2 million. Alexandru Papazian showed the mucked {7-Clubs} which would have flopped trips.

"likeboy" was also successful with a three-bet against "BetAddict" and added further chips to their stack.
