The second and final starting flight of the WSOP Circuit $1,700 Main Event here at Potawatomi Hotel and Casino is set to kick off at 11 a.m. starting time, and a host of players both new and returning are slated to hit the felt in hopes of joining the 32 players that bagged up chips in yesterday's Day 1a flight.

Chris Roth ended the day as chip leader, bagging up 420,000, while Spencer Alexander (380,000), Gerald Siemienas (320,000), Fadi Hamid (319,000), and Hank Sitton (313,000) all managed to crest the 300k marker. They were joined by the likes of defending champ Richard Bai (280,000), Spain's Javier Zarco (212,000), Nadya Magnus (168,000), and 12-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Josh Reichard (83,000).

Sam Cosby managed to earn his second WSOP Circuit ring yesterday by topping a field of 151 entrants in Event #9: $1,125 No-Limit Hold'em, and will be looking to parlay that success in today's Day 1b flight. Other players expected to join Cosby today include Brian Altman, Ian Matakis, Todd Sladek, and Ricky Landais.

Today's Day 1b flight will play 16 levels or down to 16% of the field, whichever comes first. Players will start the day with 30,000 in chips, and blinds start at 100/100. Big blind ante kicks in at Level 2. Registration and a single re-entry option are available up through the beginning of Level 13, which is approximately 8:45 p.m. local time.

With 204 entrants in yesterday's flight, the guarantee is all but certain to be met. How big will the prize pool get, and who will make it through to Day 2 action? Stay tuned to PokerNews as Day 1b play gets underway here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
