Radoja Hits One Outer on Turn

Level 15 : 125,000/250,000, 30,000 ante

Marius Gierse raised to 500,000 from middle position, and start of day chip leader Mark Radoja was the lone caller from the big blind. The flop came down {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and Radoja check called a bet of 445,000 from Gierse.

The {10-Clubs} came on the turn, and both players checked to see the {a-Diamonds} river. This time, Radoja fired 1,786,575, and Gierse thought for a bit before calling with two pair, {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. It was no good though, as Radoja rolled over {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a set of tens.

Level 15 : 125,000/250,000, 30,000 ante
Anatoly Filatov
Anatoly Filatov

Anatoly Filatov raised to 500,000 from under the gun, and both of the blinds called. The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and action checked to Filatov, who fired a c-bet of 552,500. Marius Gierse was the only called, and the {5-Diamonds} came on the turn. Anotehr check to Filatovsaw the Russian fire 1,078,750, and that was good enough to claim the pot.

After winning that hand, Filatov officially has more than double anyone else at the table.

Filatov Takes the Chip Lead From Radoja

Level 15 : 125,000/250,000, 30,000 ante

Mark Radoja raised under the gun to 550,000, and Anatoly Filatov defended his big blind to see the flop of {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Both players would check the flop, and the {8-Clubs} came on the turn. Filatov fired 1,193,000, Radoja called, and the {9-Spades} came on the river.

Filatov went for a big bet of 3,220,650, and Radoja thought for a bit before calling with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. It was no good though, as Filatov had made a straight on the river with {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Ole Schemion

Short stack Ole Schemion moved all in under the gun for nearly exactly ten big blinds with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. In the cutoff, Markus Leikkonen called about half his stack with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

The board ran down {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, and the dangerous German was sent to the rail in eighth place.

Graf Tekkel Eliminated in 9th Place ($149,167)

Level 13 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded around to short stack Graf Tekkel on the button, and he moved all in for his final 1,800,000 and change. From the big blind, Anatoly Filatov would call with {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, but he was well behind the jacks shown by Tekkel.

However, everything changed after the flop came down {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Tekkel needed a jack or running cards now, but the board finished out {9-Clubs} and {10-Spades}.

Tekkel is the first player to hit the rail at this final table.

Leikkonen Doubles Through Rudolph

Level 13 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Christian Rudolph raised it up preflop, and one of the shorter stacks, Markus Leikkonen, defended his big blind. The flop came down {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}, and Leikkonen checked to Rudolph, who continued for 289,000. Leikkonen check raised to 656,000, and Rudolph moved all in.

Leikkonen called all in with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}, and he was well out in front of the {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} shown by Rudolph. The {10-Spades} brought more outs for the German, but the {10-Hearts} on the river was not one of them.

This secures an early double for Leikkonen.
