"Ficho" Wins WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Event #14

Germany's "Ficho" overcame a nearly 6:1 chip deficit to beat Ecuador's "Lovejuoo" heads-up to win the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series Event #14: $77 LUCKY 7's for $76,030 and a WSOP Circuit gold ring.

"Lovejuoo" entered the final table with the chip lead and appeared to be cruising from coast to coast for the win. But "Ficho" won two quick hands during heads-up play while behind before winning the final one while ahead and "Lovejuoo" instead claimed the runner-up prize of $57,008.

Russia's Danii "AllinFanLOL" Maksimchuk also finished on the podium and took home the third-place prize of $42,750.

The event itself was a massive success with 9,966 entries coming just 34 entries short of the event's cap of 10,000 entries and generated a $705,991 prize pool to obliterate the $500,000 guarantee.

A total of 1,232 players collected at least a min-cash of $154 with many collecting much more including GGPoker Ambassador Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier who finished in 162nd place for $593.

Final Table Recap

The final table began around nine hours into the event after Pawel "Panpies23" Madynski (10th - $3,430) didn't get there with jack-four against the ace-deuce held by "Fox News".

"Lovejuoo" took the first two players out. A short-stacked "FreshHotdog" (ninth - $7,602) lost a flip with ace-queen suited against the sixes held by "Lovejuoo".

A short while later, "Lovejuoo" won a massive pot with nine-seven suited for a flush after they called a river jam by "Anybody11" (eighth - $10,138) with queen-jack for top pair.

"huanli8", who entered the final table with the shortest stack, chipped up a bit before eliminating "w00ls" in seventh place for $13,519 when their jacks were good against sixes.

"SO LILLO" (sixth - $18,027) was also a victim of "huanli8" when their jacks didn't hold against king-eight. Not too much later, "Fox News" was on the rail in fifth place for $24,040 when their ace-five was no good against the ace-jack held by "lovejuoo".

"Ficho" then ousted "huanli8" in fourth place for $32,058 when their ace-ten was good against six-five. Maksimchuk was then eliminated in third place for $42,750 on a bad beat when their ace-queen didn't hold against the king-nine suited held by "lovejuoo".

"lovejuoo" began heads-up action with a 6:1 chip advantage. But in a blind of an eye the stacks were relatively even with "Ficho" holding a small chip lead when a cooler of a final hand took place.

"lovejuoo" got it in with ace-queen suited only to run into the rockets held by "Ficho" to end the tournament. A huge congrats are in order for "Ficho" for winning the latest WSOP Super Circuit Online Series ring at GGPoker.
