Welcome to the WSOP International Circuit King's €1,700 Main Event Autumn Edition

Volkan Alkan Wins the WSOPC €1,700 Main Event
Volkan Alkan Wins the WSOPC €1,700 Main Event

For the third time in 2022, the World Series of Poker International Circuit has been heading to Europe's biggest poker arena at the King's Resort in Rozvadov. Throughout the entire stop, a total of 12 coveted WSOP Circuit rings will be awarded and the biggest payday awaits in the €1,700 Main Event, which comes with a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000.

The previous two editions in the current year attracted 808 and 648 entries respectively, surpassing the seven-figure goal initially while coming up short a few entries back in April. Volkan Alkan emerged as the champion the last time around and claimed a top prize of €160,500 while also securing his entry into the 2022 WSOP Europe €10,350 Main Event as well.

Whether or not Alkan or the previous champion Feyzullah Karaarslan will be back to earn yet another major victory for their poker resume remains to be seen. Among the ring event winners during the ongoing stop were notables such as Dorian Melchers, Peter Kamaras, Renat Bohdanov, Michael Magalashvili, Didier Rabl, and Michael Ugucctoni.

The tournament features two starting days in which nine levels of 60 minutes each will be completed. There will be a 20-minute break every two levels with an extended 45-minute dinner break after level four, during which all participants can take advantage of the buffet at King's Resort. The contenders receive 50,000 in chips and the blinds commence at 100-200 with a big blind ante of 200.

As part of the ongoing qualifier program of the venue, the top 12 finishers in this event will win an entry to the 2022 WSOP Europe Main Event worth €10,350. The hunt for the WSOP glory takes place from October 26 until November 16 and 15 gold bracelets will be awarded.

Late registration for this event remains open for the first two levels on Day 2 at approximately 4.20 pm local time on Saturday, October 9, 2022. All tournament days get underway at 2pm local time and the PokerNews live reporting team will be at the venue from start to finish until a winner has been crowned on Tuesday, October 11.
