Final Starting Flight Begins at 11 a.m. in Busy Day 1c
The World Series of Poker Circuit Playground Main Event's final Day 1 gets started today at 11 a.m. in what is expected to be the largest flight yet. Day 1a had 207 entries and ended with 21 while Day 1b had 518 entries and ended with 52. How many entries will there be today?
The1,579,000 chip lead set by Kevin MacDonald on Day 1a is still the mark to aim for while David Quang and Tommy Nguyen put just over a million into the bag on Day 1b.
Every player who failed to make it to Day 2 on the previous two starting flights can try again today for their last shot to make it through to Day 2.
Today is Day 1c of the Main Event and follows the same schedule as the previous two flights. Play will go down to 10% before bagging up for the night. The players who survive each Day 1 flight will then converge for Day 2, which is scheduled for Sunday at 11 a.m. The final day of action is Monday, where the winner will ultimately be crowned.
Players start with 40,000 in tournament chips. Registration and re-entry is open through the start of Level 13 on each Day 1 (~ 8:30 p.m.). Levels are 40 minutes with a break coming every three levels. There is a 45-minute dinner break following the end of Level 9.
