The Classic Flip with a Twist and a Cold Ending
Level 12
: Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
The action was opened by Quingwei Meng in early position before getting three-bet by Georgees Zero in middle position. It then folded all the way to James Pillon in late position who cold four-bet jammed having both players covered...they both called.
Quingwei Meng: Q?Q?
Georgees Zero: A?K?
James Pillon: A?K?
It was kind of the classic flip but with the twist that two of the players had each others outs. Meng was looking good through the 10?3?5? flop but the dealer then peeled the K? turn. Meng was drawing slim and the 8? river wouldn't come. Despite being in prime position for a triple, the other two players would split up his chips. Meng hit the rail just before break.
