Day 1 is a Wrap

Day 1 saw a number of big names hit the rail, including Kathy Liebert, J.C. Tran, Scott Clements, Kirk Morrison, Brian Wilson, Dan Harmetz, Marc Karam, and Jonathan Little. 2006 Harveys Lake Tahoe Main Event Champion Clint Baskin was also a Day 1 casualty.
Among those returning tomorrow are 2000 WSOP Main Event Champion Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, two-time WSOP bracelet winner and consummate tournament pro Hans "Tuna" Lund, and 2005 WSOP Main Event finalist Aaron Kanter. Kevin Vanderbeek owns the tournament's top stack with 88,000 in chips.
