Smith Folds After an Eternity

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

In the last hand of the secondary table, Martin Kabrhel raised to 4,000 and Elliot Smith called out of the big blind. On the flop {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Smith check-called a bet worth 7,500 before the {2-Clubs} turn was checked through. The {3-Diamonds} came on the river and Smith bet 12,500 only for Kabrhel to take his time and then raise to 100,000.

That was enough to put his opponent all in and Smith had not made a decision yet seven minutes into the break. Kabrhel called time on his opponent and the one minute ran down without a decision to kill Smith's hand.

Kabrhel Folds Two Pair; Or Not?

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Elliot Smith had been playing rather tight after reentering before the start of Day 2 and just raised it up. Martin Kabrhel called in the small blind and then checked the flop {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Smith continued for 5,000 and Kabrhel folded, claiming he had two pair.

Smith is still way below the average and the fresh stack he had gotten almost two hours ago.

Kabrhel With Tens

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Patrik Antonius again raised up the action and found a caller in Martin Kabrhel out of the big blind. The Czech check-called a bet worth 14,000 on the turn {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} before the {K-Spades} on the river was checked down. Kabrhel was first to show after the button and his {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} was good enough to scoop the pot.

Antonius vs Hot

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Just in the previous hand, Besim Hot had bet 13,000 into a pot of 34,000 from the small blind with the board reading {6-Spades}{Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Patrik Antonius raised to 48,000 and that won the pot without showdown.

Then, Philipp Zukernik raised to 4,500 and Hot three-bet to 12,000 from one seat over on the button. Antonius four-bet to 27,000 and just Hot called that to see a flop of {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Both players checked and Antonius then led the {4-Hearts} turn for 22,000. Hot tossed in a green T-25,000 chip for the call and the {A-Clubs} river killed all betting action, the duo checked it down.

Antonius was caught bluffing with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Hot scored a nice punch return with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} to scoop the pot.

Kabrhel and Zukernik Almost Even

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The winner ceremony for the two WSOP Circuit ring winners took place directly when Jesper Hougaard busted and shortly after, Martin Kabrhel and Philipp Zukernik clashed in a middle-sized pot. The board was reading {5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Zukernik fired 20,000 into a pot of what looked like 40,000.

Kabrhel analyzed the situation and then let go.

Hougaard Busts to Hot

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Jesper Hougaard
Jesper Hougaard

Besim Hot raised from early position and Franco Cantarella in the small blind as well as Jesper Hougaard in the big blind defended to see the flop come {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Cantarella checked, Hougaard bet 7,200 and Hot now raised to 18,500. Cantarella quickly got out of the way before the Dane moved all in for around 80,000 chips. Hot called and they turned them over.

Hougaard: {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Hot: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Neither the {6-Diamonds} turn nor the {J-Spades} river changed anything whatsoever and Hougaard headed to the rail. As a result, Jan-Peter Jachtmann was moved away from the feature to the secondary table.

Jachtmann Folds to Vladic's Aggression

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Stipod Vladic raised to 3,200 and was called by Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the small blind over on the feature table. Jachtmann check-called a continuation bet on the flop {J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{2-Spades} and did so again for 11,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn. The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river and Jachtmann check-folded his {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, Vladic indeed had it with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.
