Welcome to Day 1b of the 2021 WSOP International Circuit 1,700 Main Event at the King's Resort
After a very successful first flight of the 2021 WSOP International Circuit 1,700 Main Event, the King's Resort is preparing for another busy day in Europe's biggest poker arena. It is the penultimate chance for players from near and far to take a shot at the 1 million guarantee, which is very likely to be surpassed today already.
A total of nine levels of 60 minutes are scheduled for the flagship tournament, which gives players a starting stack of 50,000. The late registration will be open all day long and during that period, all participants can purchase two re-entries if needed. However, the late registration remains possible for the first two levels on Day 2 as well to give late arrivals a shot at the poker action.
Day 1a saw a field of 354 entries emerge of which 125 players advanced. The currently biggest stack belongs to Andrzej Jedryczka, who topped last night's proceedings with 368,000. Whether or not anyone will be able to top that on Day 1b remains to be seen.
Tournament staff expects an even bigger field for the second flight and the ongoing satellite is a good indication for that, as it awards 20 seats. Day 1b will get underway at 2pm local time and wraps up just after midnight. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels and a 30-minute dinner break upon completion of level four.
