Tuesdays are Bounty Day in 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online Super Circuit

Its time once again for the Deepstack Bounty Hunter event. As the 14th ring event in this series, there's a minimum of $500,000 guaranteed up top in prizes. So far in this series however, the guarantees have been little more than suggestions, and the events have blown through the guarantees to rack up significantly larger prize pools.

The 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online Super Circuit is a response to the unprecedented global pandemic situation. With big live poker events basically shut down, the World Series of Poker Circuit decided to move the festival online to GGPoker. There have already been 13 rings awarded on the virtual felt, with six more to award including today's bounty ring.

With a couple hours to go till the first hands are dealt, there are already nearly 400 players in the mix, and among them are some big names. GGPoker ambassador Felipe Ramos leads the way, along with fellow "gold name" players like Thai Ha, "bluffpatrol_dre", "Dan.Almeida", "ElBiastoPoker", "progressive dreamer", and "beninoline".

Players will get 20,000 chips for their $210 buy in, and they'll play 12 minute levels until Level 21 when it will change to 15 minute levels. When they reach the final nine players, final table levels go into play, and blinds will change every 30 hands. This tournament also has "Early Bird" bubble protection, a unique GGPoker feature than gives protection to players who register early but bust on the bubble, by returning their buyin to them.

Action on the bounty event gets underway at 2pm Eastern, and they'll play through to a winner. Stay tuned to PokerNews for action throughout the day as we put a ring on someone else's finger.
