Event #23 - $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha - Day 2 and Final Table

576 players bought in yesterday and there are 23 players remaining. Action will resume at 2 PM PDT. The final table will also be played today. It is scheduled to be played on the main stage and the public is encouraged to attend. The final table time is TBA. 14 more players have to bust out before a final table is set.

All eyes are on Johnny Chan as he seeks his 11th bracelet. Just the other day he metioned to Phil Hellmuth that, "He and Doyle need to catch up." Perhaps today can be the day that Chan ties Phil Hellmuth with 11 bracelets.

Andy Black is considered one of the best players in the world to have never won a bracelet. He's been on a hot streak in 2007 after winning three Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments on three different continents. He's trying to add four to his list.

Also in the field are 2006 WSOP bracelet winner Scott Clements, 2007 WSOP bracelet winner Will Durkee (Event #10 $2,000 NL Holdem champion), and 2007 WSOP bracelet winner Burt Boutin who took down Event #7 $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha with Rebuys. Eric "Rizen" Lynch is one of the best online tournament players in the world who is in pursuit of his first bracelet. Ayaz Mahmood made a WSOP final table last year for a PLO event and he's also trying to win his first bracelet.
