There were 12 hands of Stud 8. Once the Stud 8 round was over, we completed the first full cycle of HORSE. The Final Table started with one hand of Stud 8, before switching to Hold'em. Bruno Fitoussi scooped the first pot suring a split-pot level in a hand he desperately needed to win since he slipped into last place in chips. He won four pots overall and increased his stack to 2.3M.
John Hanson had taken over the chiplead during the Stud 8 round.
Bruno Fitoussi scooped the first pot of the tournament on Hand #73 during a split-game round. His King-high flush was good enough to win the high, while he took down the low with 7-5-4-3-2 low.
6th: Filippi checks, Fitoussi checks, Hanson thinks for about a minute before he bets 160,000, Filippi calls, and Fitoussi calls.
7th: All three players check. Fitoussi shows -x for a king-high flush and a 7-5-4-3-2 low. Filippi and Hanson muck, and Bruno Fitoussi scoops the high and low sides of the pot.
