While chatting with Todd Brunson during the color-up, Eric Goodson asked Brunson if he remembered knocking him out of the $2,500 Omaha hi-lo event that he won in 2005. Apparently, Brunson flopped two pair and the nut low draw and rivered a king that made him a set and eliminated Goodson from that tournament in 14th place.
In a creepy turn of deja vu, Goodson was the one to eliminate Brunson from this event. Only this time, it was Goodson who flopped two pair and the nut low draw, and rivered a king for a set, eliminating Brunson.
