Misreading the Board

, Scotty Ngyuen turned up K-K at the showdown while his opponent said "I missed" as he tabled 6-7-8-9. The pot was pushed to Nguyen. During the 15-minute break, another player at the table told Nguyen's opponent in the hand that he had actually made an eight-high straight on the river. The player went ballistic, calling for the floor and demanding that they go to the security cameras to confirm that he had won the hand and therefore, would be awarded the pot. However, since the player had misread his own hand ("I missed") it was ruled that the pot would still go to Nguyen, despite the fact that the dealer should have caught the mistake.
