Lee Watkinson & Destiny
Lee's fiance Timmi DeRosa is his loudest supporter as she shouted for joy at Lee's good fortune. Lee and Timmi met through an organization that rescues chimpanzees that have been neglected. They hope that the money Lee might win at the WSOP will go to this wonderful cause.
Lee is quite a guy and has several different business interests outside of poker that he hopes to roll into the Courtland Brandon Foundation to save and protect animals. One is a clothing and jewelry line (he has a multitude of prison inmates involved in creating the artwork and designs, which is constructive and positive on its own). Another is a record distribution company. Lee just signed his first band, Pico vs. the Island Trees. The band's producer is Grammy Award-winner David Kershenbaum, who signed Janet Jackson and numerous other stars, selling over 100 million records over the course of his career.
If there are any animal lovers out there who are interested in saving chimpanzees, donations can be sent to:

One last bit of information -- both Full Tilt Poker and Watkinson's friend and fellow poker pro Ted Lawson and his wife Michelle have been extremely generous to this cause so dear to Lee and Timmi's hearts.
Lee qualified for the Main Event on Full Tilt Poker and stands to rake in a $10 million bonus should he win it all. What a story that would be!
Is destiny lurking near? Good luck, Lee.
