A Laak of Chips

As I have regaled you on many a previous occasion, the Amazon Room is brimming with different takes on the world of fashion, and one Mr Darren Rice in particular is no exception, having caught the glare of many a passing eye.

Of course, it's unpleasant to single people out, but with an online alias of 'ultimullet', I'm sure Rice would embrace the attention with open arms. Sadly, we don't yet have a picture of his quite spectacular mullet, but as soon as we do, we'll happily share the glorious view with you.

On this occasion, however, it wasn't just the hairstyle of Rice that grabbed our attention, but also his elimination of Phil Laak. Raising it up to 225 preflop, Rice was called by one opponent a couple of seats down before being reraised to 1,775 by Laak in the cutoff.

Rice set his opponent all in for the few hundred he had left, and Laak, naturally, made the call.

Laak = {A-?}{K-?}
Rice = {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

board = {6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Whilst Laak shared his woes with partner Jennifer Tilly, one of our favourite players (I should remain unbiased, but the hair is awesome!) raked in the pot for a nice early double-through.
