Chris vs. Chris, Klodnicki Triumphs

Chris Klodnicki just left Chris Viox with a mere 110,000 chips after a big pot between the two that saw a showdown. Viox bet every street and Klodnicki, looked him up each time. On the end, the players showed:

Klodnicki: ({2-?}) ({3-?}) ({9-?}( {10-?} {7-?} {5-?} {6-?}
Viox: ({K-?}) ({J-?}) ({4-?}) {5-?} {8-?} {3-?} {7-?}

Much to Viox's surprise, Klodnicki's {7-?} {6-?} {5-?} {3-?} {2-?} beat his {8-?} {7-?} {5-?} {4-?} {3-?}. Klodnicki stacked the pot and left the one-time chip leader with just over 100,000.

Greenstein At It Again

Chip Leader -  Barry Greenstein
Chip Leader - Barry Greenstein
It seems like any time we see seventh street, we see Barry Greenstein stacking a big pot moments later.

Most recently, Greenstein went heads up with Chris Klodnicki in a hand that saw Greenstein betting the whole way. When the cards were all out, the players showed:

Greenstein: (X) (X) {4-?} {5-?} {J-?} {K-?} (X)
Klodnicki: (X) (X) {4-?} {Q-?} {8-?} {K-?} (X)

Greenstein bet seventh street and Klodnicki checked his river card. He looked up to the ceiling in disgust, apparently missing his hand. He pondered for quite a while before Greenstein chimed in. "It's pretty tough to call with a pair," said Barry. Klodnicki made a reluctant fold and Barry Greenstein stacked the pot. He is now over 800,000 chips.

"Stick With the Low Games"

In the first bit of table talk since these players got three handed, Barry Greenstein just shared an interesting observation. He playfully pointed out that he's been running "bad" when it counted. "I went deep in the deuce to seven, and now this," said Greenstein.

Viox and Klodnicki gave it a laugh and Klodnicki said "that's a good point...I guess just stick to the low games."

ABC Poker

At this point, these hands seem to be playing themselves. Almost every hand tells the same story. The high card brings it in, and the player with the lowest up card completes and wins the pot.

Greenstein Two for Two Since Break

On just the second hand since break to result in a showdown, Barry Greenstein emerged the victor once again.

By the river, the players showed:

Greenstein (X) (X) {8-?} {4-?} {6-?} {7-?} (X)
Klodnicki: (X) (X) {3-?} {J-?} {7-?} {6-?} (X)

Greenstein bet the whole way and Klodnicki called him down.

The river went check-check and Barry showed ({2-?}) ({4-?}) ({K-?}) {8-?} {4-?} {6-?} {7-?} to win the hand.

Showdowns are Scarce

With the exception of the Greenstein vs. Viox confrontation a few minutes ago, we've yet to see a showdown since play resumed from the last break. Most pots are being won with a bet on fourth or fifth streets and the stacks are staying pretty close to where they were before break.
