Pay Debate Concludes....For Now

The final word in regards to the Dale Pinchot payout debate can be summarized as follows.

At the World Series of Poker, the only time a prize chop situation can occur is during a hand for hand situation. Since we were not in a hand for hand situation, bustouts occur in the order in which they happen. Although two players were all in at the same time, Pinchot was the first person to actually go broke. As a result, he received the appropriate payout.

Pinchot was not exactly pleased with this rule, but as it was explained to him, that is how things are done at the World Series of Poker. The player was told that they could go to Jack Effel and have him explain the rules and reason if he desired.

Pinchot thanked all the floormen for their time and headed off with a couple of friends. I think he realizes in the end that, "All Floor Decisions Are Final."
