Hand #65-- Jesper Hougaard

Wong called in the small blind and Hougaard checked in the big. The flop came {4-Clubs} {7-Spades} {A-Spades}, Wong bet 50,000 and Hougaard called. The {9-Clubs} turned, Danny bet 131,000 and Jesper called again.

The {2-Spades} fell on the river, Danny bet 205,000 and Jesper tanked before announcing a raise. He popped it up to 570,000 and now it was Wong's turn to look over his stack (and look over at Hougaard). Wong said something and laughed, getting no reaction from Hougaard, and, after a few minutes of thought, he peeked at his cards one last time and mucked.

Hand #63-- Doug Middleton Has Been Eliminated (Fifth Place, $177,028)

Doug Middleton
Doug Middleton
Hougaard raised to 78,000 from the cutoff and Middleton moved all in from the small blind for 412,000 in total. Jesper and Doug chatted back and forth and Hougaard tried to decide what to do, both standing up and leaning on the table, before he made the call.

He showed {3-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} to Middleton's {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}. The flop came {J-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}, the {5-Diamonds} on the turn gave Middleton more outs to counterfeit Jesper's pair, but the {10-Diamonds} hit on the river and that gave the pot to Hougaard and sent Middleton out in fifth place.

Hand #60-- Justin Wald Has Been Eliminated (Sixth Place, $140,286)

Justin Wald
Justin Wald
Wong limped on the button and Wald and Hougaard checked in the blinds. The flop came {J-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, Wald bet 50,000, Hougaard called, and Wong did the same. The {K-Diamonds} fell on the turn, it was checked around. The {5-Clubs} hit on the river. Wald moved all in, Jesper mucked, and Wong called. Danny turned over two diamonds (we didn't learn which ones) for the flush to beat Justin Wald's trip jacks with Q-J. Wald finishes in sixth place.

Hand #59-- Doug Middleton Doubles through Justin Wald

Slaubaugh raised to 77,000 and Middleton moved all in for 150,000. Justin Wald then announced he was all in, and Slaubaugh took off his sunglasses and gave it some thought before folding.

Middleton held {A-Clubs} {6-Clubs} to Wald's {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} and when the flop came {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {7-Spades}, giving Doug top pair and Justin a gutshot draw. The turn was the {9-Clubs}, the river the {5-Spades}, and Doug doubled up.

Judging from Slaubaugh's reaction and some comments after the hand, had Wald not moved all in Cody would have called and had Middleton's ace dominated.
