Eugene Katchalov Eliminated in 6th Place ($110,450)

Eugene Katchalov - 6th Place
Eugene Katchalov - 6th Place
Eugene Katchalov was all in on the flop of {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} against Greg Jamison.

Jamison: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Katchalov: {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The turn and river arrive {3-Clubs}, {J-Spades} and they chop the high and Jamison takes the low to leave Katchalov back on the short stack.

Next hand he found himself all in against Jason Gray.

Katchalov: {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Gray: {2-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Gray makes two pair for the high to go with the nut low to eliminate Katchalov in 6th place for $110,450 in prize money.

Matusow Signs Many....Assets

A blond woman just arrived over to the rail and showed the table one of her breasts that Mike Matusow signed during dinner break. She said, "Its still there Mike!" The table erupts in laughter. Matusow proceeds to tell all of us at and around the table, "I wan't you to keep looking at that boob I just signed. You all will be distracted and I'll go on a rush."

Only at the World Series of Poker folks....or maybe the Tom Leykis Show.

Ram Vaswani - 7th Place
Ram Vaswani - 7th Place
Greg Jamison opened with a raise before Ram Vaswani reraised from the big blind. Jamison reraised once again to put Vaswani all in. He made the call for his tournament life.

Jamison: {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Vaswani: {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Ram Vaswani becomes our 7th place finisher collecting $88,360 for his efforts.

Eugene Katchalov Survives

Eugene Katchalov was all in on the flop of {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades} against David Benyamine.

Katchalov: {7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Benyamine: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The turn was the {K-Clubs} but the {7-Clubs} on the river gave Katchalov the low as Benyamine took the high. They chop up the pot and Katchalov continues to hang on!

Eugene Katchalov Doubles Up

Eugene Katchalov was all in for his last 70,000 and Mike Matusow saw only an ace in the big blind and called.

Matusow: {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Katchalov: {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Katchalov makes a full house to find a much needed double up!

Ram Misses Double Up But Survives

Ram Vaswani had the last of his chips in the middle on the turn against Toto Leonidas.

The board read {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} with Vaswani showing {7-Hearts}{A-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} against the {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{J-Clubs}{K-Hearts} of Leonidas.

The river was an interesting {10-Hearts} as it gave both players the same hand using the A-7 as they chopped up the pot.

Katchalov In Trouble

We haven't given many reports on Eugene Katchalov on this final table and it's for very good reason - he has hardly played a pot! He has sat back and watched as the short stacks battled and doubled up without anyone being eliminated. He's slowly been blinded down and now sits with only 90,000 chips in front of him. He's going to have to make a move sometime soon if he wants to avoid being the next eliminated.
