Matusow Gets Up to 600,000

David Benyamine and Mike Matusow were involved in a hand to the river. Each street was bet with the flop being two-bet. At showdown, the board was {J-Spades} {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}. Matusow showed {5-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {6-Hearts} {10-Spades}. Matusow started pacing around saying, "Don't let it be a scoop. Don't let it be a scoop." He looks back and goes, "Uh oh! Yes! I told you not to let me double up. I told you not to let me double up. "

Now he is saying "Do they think they can win now? Do they really think they can win?"

The Mouth Finding Voice

Mike "The Mouth" Matusow is gaining momentum in every sense, as he just took down a nice pot against Toto Leonidas.

On a flop of {9-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Spades} Leonidas bet out and Matusow called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Leonidas checked to Matusow who bet out. Leonidas made the call.

The river was the {Q-Clubs} and Leonidas checked it over to Matusow who fired out another bet, leaving himself only 7,000 behind. Leonidas thought for a long time before folding his hand as Matusow jumped from the table and roared in delight "Don't let me double up again boys! You're making a big, big mistake!"

The Mouth is now firing on all cylinders with about 350,000 chips.

Ram Vaswani Triples Up

On a the turn the board showed {Q-Spades} {3-Spades} {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. David Benyamine bet out, Ram Vaswani raised, and then David Chiu made it three bets to go. Benyamine called and then Vaswani raised again to go all in. Both Chiu and Benyamine called. The river fell the {9-Spades}. Benyamine and Chiu checked. Vaswani showed {2-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} for two pair. Benyamine mucked and after flashing some low cards, Chiu mucked while talking about how that the river was bad for his hand.

After the hand, Vaswani is up to 550,000 in chips

Tony Ma Eliminated in 9th Place ($55,225)

Tony Ma - 9th Place
Tony Ma - 9th Place
With the board reading {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} Tony Ma fired out a bet and Toto Leonidas reraised to put Ma all in. He made the call for his tournament life and tabled {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts} but Leonidas had a better flush and low with his {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{A-Spades}.

The river was the {A-Clubs} and Ma yelled "Yes!" thinking he had caught the low hand but after some confusion it was ruled that Leonidas had scooped to send Ma to the rail in 9th place for a payday of $55,225.

Mike Matusow Nearly Quadruples Up

Mike Matusow was all in preflop and was called in three spots. By the river, only David Benyamine and Eugene Katchalov remained in the hand. On a board of {7-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {8-Clubs}, it was checked around. Matusow instantly jumps up and starts pacing around shouting "Send the main pot to me boys! Send the main pot to me!"

Benyamine showed {K-Spades} {J-Spades} {A-Clubs} X and Matusow showed {K-?} {K-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {A-Hearts} for a flush. Matusow's tirade continued:

"Let me double up one time and I am going to make you pay! Don't let me get chips!"

He looked over to David Chiu and says, "I have to get myself pumped up." He leans over and tells the rest of the table, "Don't let me double up again folks!"

Early Aggression

There has been plenty of aggression shown in the early stages of this final table. David Benyamine has been very active and recently bet Tony Ma off his hand with a 3-bet preflop and continuation bet to take down a nice pot to extend his chip lead.

Greg Jamison has also picked up some early chips after several reraises against Eugene Katchalov on a board of {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Katchalov didn't want to let his hand go as he went into the tank for several minutes before eventually laying it down.
