Hand #204- Scotty Nguyen

Omaha-8:

MIchael DeMichele had the button in Seat 7. He raised to 240,000 and Erick and Scotty both called. The flop came {10-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}, it was checked around, the {Q-Diamonds} turned and it was checked around again. The {K-Hearts} came on the river, they all checked, and Scotty's {K-?} {9-?} {4-?} {2-?} and king-high straight took down the pot.

Hand #203 - Scotty Nguyen

Omaha-8:

Scotty Nguyen had the button in Seat 5. He raised and Erick Lindgren called from the big blind. The flop was {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. Lindgren checked, Nguyen bet and Lindgren called. The turn was the {3-Clubs}. Lindgren checked, Nguyen bet and Lindgren made the call. The river was the {8-Spades}. Lindgren checked a third time, Nguyen bet and Lindgren called.

Nguyen showed {A-?} {J-?} {8-?} {5-?} and scooped the pot with aces and jacks for high and an 8-6-5-3-A low.

Lindgren Rallies Back

We all know that Phil Ivey has been dubbed "The Tiger Woods of Poker," but at this rate we might soon see Erick Lindgren pick up the nickname "The Happy Gilmore of Poker." Lindgren's entourage, led by none other than Gavin Smith, is one of the rowdier ones in recent memory. Perhaps inspired by a little liquid courage, E-Dog's supporters hoot and holler each and every time he picks up a pot. After Erick dominated the recent round of hold'em, they began to chant "H-H-H-H!" suggesting that is Lindgren's strength. Layne Flack and Daniel Negreanu are also on the sidelines and their support appears to lean towards Lindgren. It seems to be working for him however as he is currently on the comeback trail and sitting on just under 4,000,000 chips.

Hand #201 - Erick Lindgren

Hold'em:

Michael DeMichele had the button in Seat 7. Erick Lindgren completed the small blind, Scotty Nguyen raised from the big blind and Lindgren called. The flop was {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {5-Spades}. Lindgren checked, Nguyen bet and Lindgren called. The turn was the {2-Spades}. Lindgren bet and Nguyen called. The river was the {8-Diamonds}. Lindgren bet and Nguyen called.

Lindgren showed {A-Spades} {6-Spades} for the nut flush and won the pot.

Hand #199 - Michael DeMichele

Hold'em:

Erick Lindgren had the button in Seat 8. He raised and Michael DeMichele made the call. The flop was {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {3-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and they checked again. The river was the {A-Spades}. DeMichele bet, Lindgren folded and DeMichele took it down.

Hand #198- Erick Lindgren

Hold'em:

Michael DeMichele had the button in Seat 7. He folded and Erick Lindgren raised from the small blind. Scotty three-bet, Erick called, and they saw a {9-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}, Erick bet 120,000 and Scotty called. The turn was the {7-Clubs}, Erick bet, Scotty raised to 480,000. Erick called and the river was the {2-Clubs}. Both players checked and Lindgren took the pot with {Q-?} {J-?}.
