Mahmood Retakes the Chip Lead

Ayaz Mahmood has just retaken the top spot on the leaderboard after outflopping an opponent's pocket kings with his own pocket fours.

Mahmood had limped into the hand from the cutoff and the action folded around to an unknown player in the small blind, who made it 1,500 to play. Mahmood made the call and saw a flop of {6-Spades}

, giving him bottom set.

His opponent then open-shoved his last 6,000 into the middle and Mahmood made a quick call. Blanks on both the turn and river cemented the hand for Mahmood, who now sits with a field-leading stack of ~44,000.
