Hand #44: John Conroy

Rasmus Nielsen had the button. It folded to Joe Pelton in the small blind who completed, and John Conroy checked in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Pelton bet 70,000, and Conroy pushed all in for 420,000. Pelton called.

Pelton {A-Spades}{5-Spades}
Conroy {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}. The river was the {8-Spades}, giving Conroy the straight and he doubles up over 800,000.

Hand #43: J.C. Tran

Peter Nguyen had the button. J.C. Tran raised to 105,000 from the cutoff, and Nguyen called. Rasmus Nielsen also called from the small blind, and Joe Pelton folded from the big blind. Our first three-way flop.

The flop came all babies -- {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Nielsen checked, Tran bet 175,000, Nguyen folded, and Nielsen folded as well. Tran showed {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs} as he dragged the pot.

Hand #42: J.C. Tran

J.C. Tran raised to 105,000 from the button, and Rasmus Nielsen called from the big blind.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Nielsen led out for 150,000, and Tran sat motionless for several seconds. He rechecked his cards, then made the call.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}. Nielsen peeked up at Tran, then counted out and pushed forward a bet of 325,000. Tran again took his time. And again he made the call.

The river was the {7-Spades}. Now Nielsen was the one taking some time to consider his decision. His body language seemed to indicate he wasn't crazy about that board. Finally, he checked. Tran checked as well.

Tran showed {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for nines and sevens, and Nielsen folded.

Hand #40: J.C. Tran

Joe Pelton had the button. It folded around to John Conroy who completed from the small blind, and J.C. Tran checked from the big blind.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Conroy bet 50,000, about half the pot, and Tran called. The turn was the {5-Diamonds}, and both checked. The river was the {2-Diamonds}, and both checked again.

Conroy showed {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for fours, and Tran turned over pocket sixes, winning the pot.

Hand #38: Joe Pelton

Peter Nguyen had the button. It folded to Rasmus Nielsen who completed from the small blind, and Joe Pelton checked from the big blind.

Both checked the {4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}, and both checked again. The river was the {A-Clubs}. Nielsen checked, Pelton bet 75,000, and Nielsen folded.

Hand #36: J.C. Tran

It folded around to John Conroy who raised to 115,000 from the button. J.C. Tran then reraised from the small blind to a total of 375,000. Peter Nguyen folded from the big blind, and Conroy went into the tank for about a minute before folding.
