Hand #182: Rasmus Nielsen

J.C. Tran raised to 215,000 from the small blind/button, and Rasmus Nielsen reraised to 650,000 from the big blind. Tran asked how much Nielsen had behind. Nielsen counted it out. About 2.4 million, it appeared. Tran called.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. Nielsen bet 1,350,000. Tran thought a bit, and let it go.

Hand #180: Rasmus Nielsen

J.C. Tran, who now enjoys about a 2-to-1 chip lead over Rasmus Nielsen, raised to 190,000 from the button. "He said it was a misclick," joked the announcer. Nielsen called.

The flop was {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Nielsen checked, and Tran bet 250,000. Nielsen then raised to 800,000. Tran let it go.

Hand #179: J.C. Tran

Rasmus Nielsen raised to 215,000 from the button, and J.C. Tran called. The flop came {3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Tran checked, and Nielsen checked behind. The turn was the {5-Hearts}. This time Tran bet 275,000, and Nielsen folded.

Hand #177: J.C. Tran

Rasmus Nielsen raised to 215,000, and J.C. Tran called.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Tran checked, Nielsen bet 275,000, and Tran called.

The turn was the {J-Diamonds}. Tran checked again. This time Nielsen checked.

The river was the {J-Clubs} -- an interesting card, for sure. This time Tran bet 600,000, and Nielsen folded.

Guest Appearence?

Or does he just own the place?

Scotty Nguyen just walked onto the ESPN stage here and walked right up to Rasmus Nielsen and greeted him with an outstretched hand and a "Good luck, baby."

Rasmus, obviously surprised, smiled and shook hands. "Thanks."

Scotty then walked over to the other side of the table where JC Tran sits and pulled out casino chips and began handing a few to Tran. "Good luck, baby," Scotty issued a friendly phrase to Tran as well and then tried to leave the stage, until a fan from the upper level yelled, "Scotty!"

Scotty turned, without missing a beat, and flashed a huge smile while the fan snapped a quick picture. The tournament floor staff introduced Scotty to the audience and he received a very loud, very welcomed round of applause.
