"Here Comes Crocky"

Billy "The Croc" Argyros
Billy "The Croc" Argyros
Billy "The Croc" Argyros raised to 56,000, and Jimmy Tran came along with him to the heads-up flop.

It brought {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}. The Croc bet 100,000 and Tran came back with a raise to 220,000, enough to put Argyros all in. He obliged, moving the rest of his chips forward, and the two players tabled their hands:

Argyros: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}
Tran: {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {8-Spades} {6-Clubs}

Argyros was behind, but still had plenty of chances to catch up. The dealer came through for him, presenting the {9-Hearts} on the turn to give him a better two pair. The {6-Spades} on the river was useless to the two men, and Argyros doubled up through Tran.

As the hand was playing out, Billy The Croc was standing up behind his chair, pleading with the deck. When he finally secured the pot, he broke out into a bout of self-promotion in that cheery Aussie accent.

"Yes! Scoop it, scoop it! Double, double... Here comes Crocky, you're all in trouble!"

A few minutes later, The Croc was still at it. "C'mon Jimmy, double me up again, huh?" Jimmy Tran seems less than thrilled with the proceedings at his table.
